2 Day Course
This is a workshop based 2 Day Course,
Although certain elements of it can take place outside,
The course starts at 9,00 am and finishes 5,00 pm on course days, The course fee covers transport to and from local Train Station and Airport on day of commencement and finish day, And transport to and from your B&B if required, although the B&B fee is not covered, Alternatively you could bring a small tent and camp out in a secluded area near us, We can point you in the right direction,
Also included in course fee is tea, coffee, biscuits etc
This course is designed for those who wish to learn how primitive weapons and tools have been made in the past,
We will work with raw materials some of which are pictured above, and we will actually make spears, harpoons or arrows etc using natural timbers covering the practical uses of hide lashing, the use of hide glue, fibre lashing, the use of sinew, other glues, pine resin and carbon mix (charcoal),
This is an excellent course for any genuine bushcraft person, or anyone who is interested in primitive technologies, or who simply fancy a relaxed weekend making some traditional products, which although are 100% useable look fantastic mounted in hallways, dens etc,
You will be taking home the items you make and we even provide protective tubes for transporting, After all you may raise some eyebrows walking into the airport with a spear in one hand and a harpoon in the other and an arrow sticking out of your rucksack, Probably safer to use the plastic storage tubes we provide,
And we are always at the end of the phone or email for queries of past course participants,
These courses are very restricted in numbers, due to the intensive one on one guidance,
The available dates for this course for you to join in with a small number of other clients are on our dates page, but if there are a couple of you together email your preferred dates, preferably mid-week, Individual tuition is available in extreme cases but course fees may change slightly,
